I have been a professional tutor since 2008. I know how tutoring works and how to work with individual students. My students succeed and feel better about their studies because I believe in their intelligence and hold them to high standards, while still being friendly and accessible. I work with students both for their courses ("academic" tutoring) and for test preparation. In both cases, I have a high rate of success with my students. For test preparation, I have an exclusive system for the SAT and ACT that provides complete guidance along the entire route of test prep. All sessions are conducted at my office, Strength in Numbers Tutoring, in Needham Center. A dedicated classroom provides students with a place to just focus on learning, as opposed to being at home where they must contend with all the normal distractions of home. My students come to learn and appreciate the focused attention they receive.
